Three levels of support. One clear path to stronger finance.

How pricing works. After our first conversation and a short discovery, I'll recommend the level that fits and confirm a fixed monthly fee, based on complexity and how involved you need me to be. No hourly billing, no surprises.

Also available: one-off projects, such as a fundraising model, a pricing review or a finance health check.

Your first 30 days

Establish the truth before building the plan.

  1. Week 1: understand. Meet you and your key people. Review the model, reporting, cash position and commercial data. Identify the decisions, risks and immediate pressures.
  2. Week 2: establish the truth. Check revenue, margins, cash runway and forecast assumptions, and resolve conflicting numbers.
  3. Weeks 3–4: prioritise. Present a concise financial diagnostic, agree actions, owners and timings, and set a regular reporting and decision rhythm.

What you get: a clear view of your financial position, your immediate priorities and the level of CFO support you need. If cash, fundraising or performance needs urgent attention, we move faster.

Common questions

Do I need a CFO yet?

If you recognise yourself in any of the situations on the home page, a fractional CFO usually pays for itself. The need tends to appear well before you could justify a full-time hire.

How is this different from my accountant?

Your accountant handles compliance, tax and statutory accounts, recording what has happened. I help you use the numbers to decide what happens next. I work alongside your accountant, not instead of them.

Will you replace my bookkeeper or finance team?

No. I strengthen the team you have, and can lead finance until you're ready for a permanent CFO.

Can you help us raise investment?

Yes. I get the business investor-ready: the model, data room, investor story and rehearsal for tough questions. I then support you through due diligence and the terms.

What if our needs change?

You can move between levels as the business changes, for example stepping up for a fundraise and back down afterwards.

Do you work remotely?

Mostly, with time on site when it matters, such as leadership meetings or the first weeks of an engagement. I'm based in Cheshire and work with businesses across the UK.

Not sure which level fits?

Book a free conversation and I'll recommend the right one, even if it's the smallest.
